Verafide

  • Fullstack Developer June 2021 - December 2021

Verafide was a subsidiary of SETL, the product was intented to replace physical documents with a blockchain-backed digital platform. Documents would be issued by vendors and verifiable using cryptography by consumers, businesses and individuals alike. I was tasked with building major some features and an open source SDK in the form of an npm package.

SETL

  • Fullstack Developer June 2017 - June 2021

I was part of the product engineering team, tasked with developing our OpenCSD platform and various custom-built asset management solutions. These all interfaced with our backend services, such as SETL's propietary blockchain and some 3rd party services too. As such, clear and close communication was paramount when designing and using APIs. I learnt a lot about cyber security, how to build some very complex application stacks and the use cases for cyptography and blockchain technology
